Security Vulnerabilities Fix Coming for Snow Leopard 10.6.3

by admin on March 10, 2010

In other beta news, another beta of Mac OS X version 10.6.3 has been released to testers. This update is said to include some minor security tweaks, specifically involving possible vulnerabilities within QuickTime X.

As of yet there’s no indication as to when the update will be released to the public, but since the last couple of builds of the beta have been reported to be largely problem-free, it’s possible that the public release will happen sooner rather than later.

Apple is also working on QuickTime 7.66, which is thought to be one of the final versions of QuickTime 7. This update will also address certain security issues. More details on the Snow Leopard update can be on the Apple Insider article.
